It is because when you and your friend wants to talk to each other at the end of the day. But your parents didn't allow you to talk at late night then?  So Morse code will help you here. Now I will explain you how it works. Read the following carefully...

This is the ABCD of Morse code that what each dot & dash represents is nothing but simple English. Now you and your friend has laser light(with red dot) your room is that opposite of your friend room so yo opens window and start saying him something in darkness with help of laser by representing dot as quick on-off of laser and dash by on-off of laser by keeping some time interval. It seems to hard but you will get it easy after some practice. This table converts English to Morse code but no table is there to convert Morse code into English.
